Designed for bikers, the Garmin zūmo® 220 features a 3.5” color touchscreen, text-to-speech guidance, lane assist, Bluetooth headset compatibility and on-road/off-road travel options. Expected to be available in March 2010 for about $600, this rugged device packed with a motorcycle mount.
Claimed as the world’s first hybrid motorcycle, the Bangalore’s Eko Vehicles (Eko ET-120) runs on a 70cc gasoline-powered engine combined with a battery system to produce a 120cc powerplant. Priced at a mere $850 in India, this hybrid system can produce a 280 mpg. Regarding emissions, it’s claimed to be reduced three-fold.
